Craig Sandercock
Craig Sandercock specialises in motivating people and businesses on how to achieve their goals. He gives people the tools on how to cope with adversity and pressure which all people and businesses go through at one time or another.
He has a degree in Economics and a Diploma of Education from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia, as well as a Teachers Certificate. In 1991 he started working in a prestigious private School in Sydney as an Economics teacher. He spent 15 years at the School rising to the position of Deputy Head. It is there that he was able to put into practice my fundamental beliefs in motivating, managing and inspiring young people, parents and fellow staff.
From there he swapped a suit and tie for a track suit and trainers to become a full time coach in the cut throat world of professional sport. Craig has been credited with the emergence of the Newcastle Knights’ and Australian wing sensation Aku Uate by the player himself. He has also been Head Coach of Hull Kingston Rovers Rugby League Club in England. Rugby is an industry that seems to limit its employment to only ex-players – however Craig was the only Rugby coach in England that hasn’t actually played the game at the highest level.
A myriad of speakers can discuss the theoretical elements of motivation and give their business expertise. However only a handful of them have worked in the private sector and been able to give a rare insight into the intricacies of elite sport in a highly inspiring and entertaining manner. Craig’s keynote talks are not based on theory and text books but on his personal experiences over 25 years which can work for anyone, laced of course, with his Aussie sense of humour. His talks can be geared from 30mins to 60mins and modified to suit the client’s needs, and can be tailored for anywhere from 2 to 200 people or for those that work on the factory floor through to executive management.
